Greetings:

Welcome to the first official website for the Tifton Judicial Circuit. This site is one of several recent changes initiated by the circuit's Superior Court Judges to update and automate the judges' offices and the public courtrooms located here.

Each of these changes has been made in order to more effectively and more efficiently serve the citizens of Irwin, Tift, Turner, and Worth Counties (1) by providing the uppermost level of justice, fairness, and equality to all persons who come before the Superior Courts and Juvenile Courts of this circuit, whether they be parties in a civil case or victims or defendants in a criminal case or parents and children in a juvenile case; (2) by minimizing the inconvenience to, and accommodating the needs of, those persons who find themselves in the unwanted, yet vitally important role, of being witnesses, trial jurors, or Grand Jurors; and (3) by working with the attorneys and other professionals practicing in or as adjunct to the Superior and Juvenile Courts of this circuit.

Please take the time to explore all the aspects of this site as we believe that it will answer many of your questions about the Superior and Juvenile Courts of the Tifton Judicial Circuit and thereby ease your concerns about coming into contact with these Courts. In addition, the links provided here will allow you to access information on the other courts of the State of Georgia as well as the other branches of government in our State.

Lastly, this website is, and will continue to be, a "work in progress" in our efforts to meet the needs of our constantly changing society.
